I haven’t written very much here during the past two months, but I’m going to start blogging here again. 
Earlier this week I got an email from CCP in which they asked me to return to EVE, and gave me 5 free testing days. Now I have added even more time and are playing on my old minmatar character – Ytec. I got almost 2 million skillpoints and have recently bought a battle cruiser, the Hurricane. I’m trading, and doing level 2 missions to increase my standing with Brutor to do level 3 missions some time in the future. Doing missions is also a way to decrease the trading fees.
But back to the Hurricane. I didn’t really know what fit it with, so I went online, googled and found the website BattleClinic. On that website I found this nice fitting:
I’m a bit poor so I haven’t bought any T2-items, and I haven’t played any level 3 missions yet. But so far it’s great and blows up everything in level 2 missions.

If you want to play Nintendo DS games on your PC I can recommends you to try out DeSmuME! I have tried it out on Ubuntu 10.10 and it worked great, but it’s also available to Windows and Mac.
You can download DeSmuME to Ubuntu through the Ubuntu Software Center, or by pasting this line in the terminal:
sudo apt-get install desmume
Here you are able to download it to Windows and Mac:
I can’t download Angry Birds Beta from the Android Market for some unknown reason. And apparently I’m not the only one with this problem. So I found a website with the Angry Birds Beta APK-file that I downloaded, copied to my Spica and installed with Astro. Yeah, so now I’m able to play some… Angry Birds! Yey!

I found an awesome post on a website where the Chinese version of World of Warcraft – Wrath of the Lich King was compared with the regular version of WoW. I must say that the Chinese rules about games are laughable, just look at the images! Why would it harm the people of China to see some static computer made skeletons? Just check for yourself and feel some empathy for the Chinese.

I bought Borderlands a few days ago and I started to play as Lilith. I’m currently at level 25 and I find this build very good:
As you can understand I’m using phasewalk to get in and out of combat, and to heal myself. I’m also using SMG, but I haven’t got many skills that boost weapon damage, accuracy and stuff like that yet. With the SMG am I using the Mercenary class mod that increases SMG damage and more.
This is the build I’m working towards, to get fully advantage out of my class mod, and that I will get it on level 33:
On level 50 (if I even reach that far) I will use something like this:
Then I have 5 unspent points too, that I don’t know yet what’s best to spend them on. Maybe on Blackout or on Hit & Run.
Maybe you find this post useful if you play Borderlands and need some inspiration as Lilith.

Yesterday I bought Borderlands 4 pack on Steam, so that I, my two brothers and a friend could play together. It was a 66 % discount and therefore was the price only 30 € for the 4 pack.
We played today for about 4-5 hours and got to level 14 (yeey!), but then crashed the game for one of my brothers. And apparently does the game only saves when you exit the game through the menu, which meant that he lost all his progression and had to start from scratch.
But I found an awesome save game editor that you are able to create a save game with, and choose class, name, money, level, skill points and stuff like that. So now is he back on level 14, and almost no harm done.

I tried to change spray logo in Team Fortress 2 but I got the following error: “Image file is corrupt”. This was easily solved by simply saving the image in .bmp instead of .jpg.

I downloaded the Mafia 2 demo on Steam and tried it out. It was average, very much like GTA IV, but with less weapons it seemed. But my opinion about the game isn’t the point with this blog post.
When I closed the game was my screen brightness very low and it was really dark. Reopening the game didn’t solve it, but opening another game in fullscreen did. I opened CS 1.6 and after that was my screen brightness back to normal.
